Toni started off her career in London, firstly running around after media mogul Robert Maxwell as his EA in the late 80’s, and then spent many more years running around the world organising events for the Orient Express.

After deciding to ditch her life in the big smoke in 1997 and emigrating to Australia, Toni searched for a more holistic lifestyle, swapping her Jimmy Choos for a pair of Havaianas, she started studying as a naturopath, and completed her Bachelor of Health Science Degree at the University of New England in 2004.

As a practicing naturopath specialising in pregnant Mothers and newborns she noticed a number of interesting observations, firstly she was seeing an increasing amount of babies with skin irritations, such as eczema and dermatitis, secondly she realised just how little knowledge parents had about their baby's skincare, and last but most importantly she realised what a big diference even a small amount of ‘parent education’ can make to the well-being of their babies.

It is here that the seed was planted for her to start bottomsup…

Toni’s philosophy for starting bottomsup and what remains true to the business today, is in creating a high quality range of natural organic baby skincare products that are fun and engaging, non harmful (to a baby and the environment), perform well (if not a lot better) than synthetic products, and providing information to parents about natural, organic ingredients, so they themselves can make more informed decisions.

In-between school drop offs, running bottomsup and trying to get to the gym, Toni is also a leading speaker on baby skincare and natural organic skincare products.
